The BEST AGP 4X/8X Video Card?

I need help picking a AGP 4X/8X Video Card that is still good(able to play games like cod4). I know agp 4x/8x is not that great and even realy not being made no more. I need the last agp card that is good till i can save up even more to upgrade my whole pc. I rather get geforce but any card will do i guess.

THese two cards are the best cards i can find, one for geforce and one for ati. Please help me find which is better or find a better card.(plan on buting 2 gigs of memory with a total of 3 gig memory with a graphics card)

And if its possable but not necessary please use newegg.com

thx.|||The X1950 Pro AGP is better. It actually consumes about 70 watts or draws up to 6 amps on the +12V rail. So, it won't be difficult to power it. If you really want Geforce, get the 7950GT AGP. Power draw would be a bit less.

There is NO graphics card yet that draws 30 amps (360W). Even the 8800 Ultra in SLI draw only 21 amps. Some tend to confuse the total PC power draw that is usually the basis of minimum power supply requirement AS the graphics card's wattage.|||go with x1950pro, make sure your psu can handle it. The card needs 30a on 12V rail(s), or even look at the x1950gt (requires less juice to run).|||LOL, i didnt think people stil used agp, but heres my suggestion pending OS. The drivers arent totally on ur side in Vista with nvidia.

Vista: ATi (sapphire)

XP: nVIDIA (bfg)|||The following is the fastest card I could find for AGP 8x

XFX GeForce 7950 GT / 512MB GDDR3 / AGP 8x / DL Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card $219.99*

$220 +$80 for a new power supply = $280

$280 to upgrade a computer that is probably worth less than the upgrade cost. Probably not a very good idea.

The X1950PRO is faster than the GeForce 7800GS.

You will probably need a new power supply with either card.
