Will a AGP 4x/8x video card work in a 4x AGP slot?

Does that mean that it will work with either a agp 4x or 8x?|||yes|||That's correct, it will work in either slot.|||Depends on your BIOS. Usually yes. Occaisionally AGP slots can be proprietary, but most mboards will step down the AGP card to the capabilities of the on-board BIOS. Pay attention to voltage required by your card and ensure your mboard will support through the required slot.|||Probably but there are limits to compatibility. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerated_Graphics_Port|||Yes. check the BIOS settings.

Nikolas S|||YES ! Your BIOS should auto detect the type and speed of your card. Just install it and boot up, also check your device manager in windows to make sure its working OK.|||yes...you can adjust the AGP bus speed in your bios...
