Some agp port are set only for 4X or 8X and if you try to put another kind of agp in ther it will not enter.|||YES, mysticman is right.
The fast high end cards like 7900GS AGP, X1950 Pro AGP or 7950GT AGP would, however be bottlenecked/slowed down by that 4x AGP port. ATI 9600 Pro or Geforce 7300GT AGP should work out fine and may not require a power supply upgrade.
