Do i have to use the AGP slot or can i leave it empty and use a pci video card?

well its pretty self explanatory. i have a board that requires a AGP 4x card (that i don't have), so can i leave it empty and use a PCI video card|||Your board doesnt "require" an AGP 4x card. It is there for the option if you want an AGP card in the future..

You can use a PCI video card without the AGP being occupied.

Note this tho...

This is different for each motherboard but... usually the onboard video(if your mobo has one) is AGP so when your computer starts up it will look for AGP and therefore nothing will show on ur screen unless you plug in the monitor to the onboard AGP... soo (go to ur bios and change AGP to PCI)

Obviously this maybe automatic/or different depending on your Motherboard..|||yh u can might need 2 change it in bios tho
